Please add and link upstream OLPC tracker

Asked by Luke Faraone

The tracker is at http://dev.laptop.org/ and is using Trac.

Also, how do I mark bugs such as bug 229057 as also reported there? And add upstream links for the sugar and sugar-* packages?

Hi,

I've registered the OLPC tracker:

  https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/bugtrackers/olpc

To say that bug 229057 is also in Sugar itself:

 * Go to the bug, and choose "Also affects: Project...",
 * It'll ask you for a project name. Enter "sugar", then click "Continue",
 * Choose the "I have the URL for the upstream bug:" option and paste the URL of the bug in the OLPC bug tracker into the box (so, something like http://dev.laptop.org/ticket/1), then click "Add to Bug Report".

If I hadn't registered the bug tracker first, you could still have followed the same instructions, because Launchpad would have registered the OLPC development site as part of the process.

I hope that helps.

Gavin.

Ok, almost there.

I'm trying to mark sugar as the upstream source for the sugar packages in ubuntu, but cannot seem to do so. (see https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/intrepid/+source/sugar/+edit-packaging )

When I enter "sugar", it presents me with a drop down menu for the series, I then choose "trunk", and get an error.
