How to get a certificate

When I try to register for The Launchpad I am asked for a certificate. How do I get one?

I'm not quite sure what page you are talking about. Please give the URL you go to that asks for a certificate.

This happens on all URLs.
eg: //launchpad.net
eg: When I clicked on your answer.
What I get is the Windows (running XP Home SR2) window asking me to select a certificate from the list. The list is empty.
Today tho I had a different experience. I click OK and (or whatever) and was able to access the site.
That works for me. If I have further problems I will let you know.
