Ubuntu email

ubject: @ubuntu.com email alias not working (550 5.1.1 error)

Hello,

I am an Ubuntu Member (Launchpad ID: urosldp), and I have had an @ubuntu.com email alias for many years.

However, when anyone tries to send email to my alias `<email address hidden>`, it bounces with the following error:

550 5.1.1 <email address hidden>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in relay recipient table

My primary email address on Launchpad is <email address hidden> and it is confirmed. The alias should be forwarding there.

Can someone please check if my @ubuntu.com alias is properly configured or reset it if needed?

Hi Ladislav, we, the Launchpad team, do not run the email infrastructure for the ubuntu.com domain or manage the email aliases for it. Afaik, Canonical's sysadmins manage it.

So I request you to send an email to <email address hidden> about this issue as documented in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuEmail.
