lxml

validate huge files

When validating huge files, > 65536 lines with some errors, the errors are reported to be on line 65536, and not on the line where they really are. Is that a known problem ? Thanks, udo

That's a known limitation in libxml2. You can search the libxml2 mailing list
for a recent thread on this topic (~1-2 months ago).
