Magento OpenERP Connector

Do we need to import the root_category?

I noticed that the connector also downloads the Magento ROOT CATEGORY to OpenErp and I ask myself if this is needed.
Each Magento install can serve many different websites. Each website has its own DEFAULT CATEGORY but all websites use the same ROOT CATEGORY. For this reason i think the import of the ROOT CATEGORY is not needed. If this is the case you can hard code the ROOT CATEGORY (or make it optional to import) so that it does not show in OpenErp and give a better category overview.

Hi,

The root category has to be downloaded because the ROOT CATEGORY is used by stores.
However the root category has been made readonly in open erp by using attrs.

Can you help with this problem?
