The spanish translation does not work on my system

Thats it, I am using Xubuntu 12.04 with locale es_ES, and almost all marlin UI is shown in english, as far as I know from the tranlations page at launchpad all strings for spanish are translated so how do I fix this?

Prueba a copiar el archivo marlin.mo de la carpeta /usr/share/locale/es/LC_MESSAGES a la carpeta /usr/share/locale/es_ES/LC_MESSAGES y si no:
Lo que yo he hecho que me ha funcionado es solicitar el archivo de translación, en formato MO desde https://translations.launchpad.net/marlin/trunk/+export he cogido ese archivo marlin.mo desde la carpeta es y con el he sobreescrito el de la carpeta /usr/share/locale/es/LC_MESSAGES y en la es_ES así que no se muy bien que es lo que me ha resultado. Eso sí, para que funcione debes de cerrar totalmente el marlin, tanto marlin como marlin-daemon (mejor desde el monitor del sistema o la terminal)
