At this site http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/Graphics/VideoFormatSupport/Default.html there's a demonstration showing which formats the browser can play, and Midori failed two out of the three tests: It was unable to play both WebM (html5) & H.264

Asked by Kirk Stouffer

Is there a solution that would allow Midori to play WebM(html5) and H.264 baseline profile (html5). According to this site http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/Graphics/VideoFormatSupport/Default.html Midori was unable to play both of those video formats. Thank You

Please see faq section named "HTML5 Video doesn't play" here http://wiki.xfce.org/midori/faq
Depending on how new your webkitgtk is those may be gstreamer 1.x instead 0.10 but most linux distros ship both versions as they can be installed at the same time, for h264 gstreamer ffmpeg/libav may be needed.
Once gstreamer packages are installed properly midori sould just pick them up and play those videos just fine.

Can you help with this problem?
