Giving up on Midori?

I've been using Midori for a few months and I really want to stick with it but a couple of issues are driving me crazy.

I'm hitting this crash all the time now:

This keeps causing an extremely annoying autoscroll:

I take it this isn't happening to everyone else? Otherwise I can't imagine that people would stick around. Please let me know if you have any ideas before I bail out to Firefox. :(

Incredibly, I think both of these problems have disappeared since upgrading from vala-common-0.22.0 to 0.22.1. I disabled the advertisement blocker extension at the same time so that could be it too.
