Fastest way to start a handler for a specific topic in a websocket

Hello everyone , I'm trying to manage on my websocket , the arrival of a notification on a special topic in mosquitto 1.4 and wanted to know if there were any side javascript method similar to the method python message_callback_add ( )

That's a client side issue, so I'm afraid you'll have to go and ask wherever you got your javascript code.
