play state of app on open

is there any way you can make the app already in play state if you select the icon at any time
example

app is closed
screen locked
select music icon and pull down top menu you cant press play
have to unlock then press play

the reason is id like to select the music app when locked
music app is open and play and pause selected
so i can just start play from the drop down menu or from pebble
without having to unlock the phone

so the music app opens , selects play and pause straight away
so its ready to go if you know what i mean?
im sure it used to do this around OTA9 / 10 it stopped doing this ....

Sorry for not getting back sooner, yes this sounds like it should be possible. I would have to investigate why it is not happening already though. As you stated I wonder if it has to go through a play then pause cycle first, which could have the adverse affect of making a small audible sound.

I will convert this into a bug report so that we can track the issue.
