In prefences, can't change options

I cannot change how the weather is displayed on my desktop. None check boxes or pull down menus change how the widget looks or change what is displayed in the top bar. I use Ubuntu 15.10.

I ran software updater and it came through with an update for my weather indicator and fixed the problem. Sorry for the last post.
