In Nautilus, if i set to arrange items manually, it's not possible to align the icon to a grid

Asked by Donatello

Hello

I have a question: it's possible to put the file in nautilus in a free position (where i want) but align in a grid (like the desktop's icon)?

If i Right Click on an empty space in Nautilus and after select Arrange Items-> and choose Manually i can place files/folders the way i want them.
But in this case it's not possible to align the icon to a grid.

I think it's very useful have icons in order.
It's a little think but it's very visible.

If someone, that normally use Windows, try linux see immediately this. Sigh

Thank
Donatello
