quantum net list - AmbiguousndPoints error

Asked by vj

There are 2 regions. Defined quantum endpoints for each region. However, quantum net-list command returns "AmbiguousEndPoints" error. Does quantum command take region into account?
Thanks,
vj

Yes. Make sure the OS_REGION_NAME environment variable is set correctly or that you pass --os-region-name on the command line.

quantum net-list with --os-region-name set works. However, when an image is launched using nova (either nova boot from command line or from horizon) from a particular region, ends up in error, AmbiguousEndPointsError, when it hits quantum networking. Region name does not seem to get passed on to quantum. quantum seems to expect only one service endpoint with only one region defined.
