how does nicira provide their controller device for tempest test

to run tempest test, each vedor need to provide their device for the test to prove that it is working. some vendor put their
program package or source code on github, when install devstack , service program of the vendor will be installed on the node, providing service natively, actual most vendors can not put their source code or program package on the web for some business
reason, how does these vendor to run tempest, any guide will be appreciated.

Vendors are adding third-party testing to neutron for the Icehouse release.
As of today you should be seeing 'external CI systems' such as Neutron Ryu, or VMware Mine Sweeper running tempest tests with commercial plugins and and respective back-end, and posting test results to gerrit.
