Adding keypad to main view and staying on top

Asked by K-Raulickis

Hello, I recently installed Linux Mint and started using Onboard keyboard. There are 3 issues that I tried to fix, but failed to do so:
1) I failed to extend full keyboard layout - I wanted to add keypad to right-side of keyboard;
2) I cannot manage to keep keyboard "on top" of programs with windows options. On click - it keeps "jumping";
3) When i press and hold shift button - it does not update Onboard keyboard. I need to release and click again.

I hope you will be able to help me out.
Thank you
Karolis

Hey, I’ve run into a couple of those quirks too. for the keypad you might need to switch to a different layout in onboard’s settings—there’s usually one that includes a numeric pad. to keep it always on top, try your desktop’s “always on top” option or use a tool like wmctrl. The shift thing sounds like a known hiccup; maybe check your keyboard repeat settings or try another theme to see if it updates quicker.
