Why fetchmail, not python code?

Hello,

why emails are fetched by fetchmail but not by some module? What is the solution for Windows, where fetchmail doesn't exist.

And subquestion, is it possible to search through launchpad branches by some keywords? As I understand, branches have no meta information.

Hi

openerp-mailgate doesn't only with fetchmail, et work with fecthmail or other program which can retrieve mail and send them to stdin

on windows, find a tools that can retrieve mail and save it as .eml extension and launch the openerp-mailgate as

openerp-mailgate [OPTION] < file.eml

[OPTION]must be replace by the the connection argument
