processor implementation

Asked by ahuga

Hello there,

I´m planning to use OpenShot on my Ubuntu 9.10-server. It is running on an Atom 330 platform with Nvidia GeForce 9400. OpenShot surely would not be too much of performing on the Atom, but the GeForce should do the job easily. So my question is whether if OpenShot uses the gpu or the cpu for the numbercrunching?

Best regards
Ahuga

Hello
we have had returns Openshot running on low settings. Openshot is using the cpu because MLT use only the cpu, for the moment.

Thanks

It's possible to support the GPU in the future, but that would be a
task for MLT and FFmpeg. For now, it uses the CPU, just like cenwen
mentioned. Thanks!
