Audio files sound bumpy

Asked by Guxie

When I play audio-files (i.E. mp3, wav, ogg) in Openshot the sound is bumpy, not fluid, with a light cracking noise. In Rhythmbox, Kaffeine or MPlayer the same files sound error-free. When I export a video in Openshot (including an audio-file) and playback the video in any Media Player the video sounds error-free, too. Any solution for this problem would be much appreciated. I have installed Karmic x64 on an Asus X53Ka.

I have just found out that this is a confirmed bug.

MLT has issues with real-time audio processing... and crackles are
common. Exporting should not contain crackling audio. This is a
known bug, and hopefully they will be able to resolve it soon.
Thanks!
