innodb error on backup (with mysql 4.0.27)

Asked by ts77

Hello,

I'm trying the downloadable binary of xtrabackup-0.6 on a backup slave.
The machine is running gentoo linux with mysql -4.0.27.
For each of the ibdata-files I'm getting an error like:
InnoDB: Error: space id in fsp header 0, but in the page header 4294967295
and following up a loooong log-scan.
Is that intended? what does this error report, aka is it serious? and what can I do about it?

Thanks in advance,

Thomas

well, the log-scan (log scanned up to ...) isn't related as it seems, its just done in the background as far as I can see.

No change in xtrabackup-0.8.

Is that error relevant, could it pose a problem?

you can ignore this error, we will suppress output in next releases.

Hmm... Datafile format of 4.0 may be different from 5.0...
I have not tested how it works for 4.0.

Can you help with this problem?
