Persistence Storage on USB

Asked by MichaelMak

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to create a live usb that runs QIMO and can have persistent storage. I have used Linux Live USB creator but QIMO is not one of their supported linuxes and thus it only runs as a live CD from a portable VM virtualbox. Is there anyway to enable persistent storage on QIMO on a usb from the portable virtualbox? In addition, is there anyway to make the virtualization faster from a USB (there is some lag opening Gcompirs and other programs).

Thanks for all your help!

You can convert the .iso file to a live USB using unetbootin or USB Startup Disk Creator. Both should offer an option to use the remaining space for persistent storage.

Can you help with this problem?
