Slingshot not Fullscreen only gtk-looking

I see screenshots of slingshot with a beautiful fullscreen pupleish slightly transparent installed on Ubuntu. I installed on Archlinux and it's just the old gtk look and only part of the screen (I have a dual screen monitor). What am I doing wrong?

Slingshot is now only half screen cuz user tests prooved that application-launching is faster this way than fullscreen-osx-launchpad one. try it a week and you'll be convinced of this. i was very opposited to the new setuptoo, but it's really better.
Do you have elementary stuff like theme, icons, granite? slingshot is ugly with other themes, specially ambiance/radiance. I thinks this is the problem, but i can't promise cuz i'm not a developper, just an user
