You can convert the APE file to mp3 or flac.
You must edit the cue file to change the name of the file.

what I have done was to split the ape (or flac) and tag each generated file with cuetools. following this guide:
http://www.webupd8.org/2009/04/split-ape-and-flac-files-in-ubuntu-and.html
Then I used soundConverter with each file.

Cue file is a text file. It can be edited with any text editor.

It will be awsome the integration between cuetools and SoundConverter.

Can you help with this problem?
