Can't load ui/fonts/font8.png

I compiled everything seemingly fine, added the original game data /scripts/ folder, the fog.png and the stratagus binary, but when i run it, i get

Can't open file: No such file or directory
Can't load the graphic `ui/fonts/font8.png'
</code>

ANY Ideas?

Stratagus is game engine - it has no data/script files. So which data set are you using (wargus/stargus/...)?
And which OS do you have?
