Is it possible to use sloppy focus

Is it possible to use sloppy focus within the terminator window so moving the mouse over each sub-term places the focus there?

If you are using GNOME and you have sloppy focus configured there, Terminator will automatically switch to sloppy focus mode. If not, put the following in .terminatorrc in your home directory:

focus=sloppy

I'm trying to do the same thing. I'm using GNOME in Ubuntu Karmic with terminator, and it doesn't do sloppy focus automatically. I've created a ~/.terminatorrc and put that line in it and restarted terminator, and it still doesn't seem to work. Any other ideas?

Michael: Do you have sloppy focus configured in System->Preferences->Windows and Terminator isn't following that?
Either way, the config file is ~/.config/terminator/config these days as that is a more correct path than ~/.terminatorrc according to modern freedesktop standards.

Sorry Chris, everything seems to be working as expected now on two different machines. I'm not sure what was wrong but if the machine is configured to use sloppy focus Terminator seems to pick it up and behave appropriately!
