How do I remove a virus found by the ClamTK Virus Scanner?

Asked by Layne Wilkerson

Hi I am new to Linux. Last night I installed the ClamTK Virus scanner. I decided to scan the entire file system. To my suprise 4 viruses were found. I cannot figure what to do next. When I click on the tab Quarantine infected files nothing happens. When I click on status under Quarantine it tells me no items are quarantined. I am using 8.04 LTS, I do not understand Launchpad so I would probably not receive an answer there. My E-mail is: <email address hidden>
The first letter is a lower case L

ClamTK is not a tool to remove viruses. It is just a scanner. Give a try to Avast! (http://www.avast.com) that is available for free home usage or just don't open these files on Windows. On Linux you should be safe (99.9% guarantee).

Can you help with this problem?
