I've been wondering about this as well. The 0.91 fonts seem to have been in internal testing for a year, judging from some of the bug reports, but they're still not available in the ubuntu-font-beta-testing PPA for the community to evaluate.

Cody and Gesley: (apologies if I make mistakes in this reply (please correct me, I've been working on other things).

I don't think I have anything numbered 0.9* (yet), here's all the .ttfs under my home directory:

  find ~/ -name \*.ttf | xargs -n1 showttf | grep fontRevision= | sort -n | uniq
 fontRevision=0.00100708
 fontRevision=0.0699921
 fontRevision=0.799988
 fontRevision=1
 fontRevision=2.50999
 fontRevision=2.53999
 fontRevision=2.56

If you have something newer, please do send it me! We have been using "0.9x" as the short-hand for the finishing off that needs doing for the original 1.0 target.

I guess this is why we use codenames for Ubuntu (operating system), it means /a number/ is only assigned with something is released!

I think the only things floating around that have been alpha-ed and not released, are early cuts of Arabic and Hebrew; these are somewhat old and so missing the necessary diacritical complexities (which weren't complete at the time). If you know Arabic and would like to have a look let me know, but these are not representative, or of a deployable quality—those .ttfs were produced for getting early feedback.

https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-font-family/+question/201336/

The Ubuntu font is still in development, all the planned scripts have now been completed from our side.

The fonts are currently in QA, this process has taken longer than expected.

The next update (V0.91 ) will include amends to all 13 weights, that’s Regular, Regular Italic, Bold ,Bold Italic ,Light, Light Italic, Monospace Regular, Monospace Reg Italic, Monospace Bold, Monospace Bold Italic, Medium, Medium Italic, Condensed Regular

We’ll provide an expected delivery date shortly.

The latest WOFF files for the 2022 beta indicate a version number of 0.862, which is fun… https://github.com/canonical/vanilla-framework/pull/4616/files

Can you help with this problem?
