Want to network a HP 4070 scanner via USB windows machine in Ubuntu

G'day. I have a HP Scanner 4070 hooked up to a PC/Vista machine and want to use it from my wireless/networked Laptop running dual boot Vista/Ubuntu 9.04, but want to access it when booting in ubuntu. I can use the two printers I have hooked up the the tower pc when I'm booted into Ubuntu no probs, but when trying to access the scanner it's not recognising it. Anyone got a fix or idea of how I can use it in ubuntu.

PS. I love using Ubuntu
