I'm also interested in this, Mandriva 2010.1 will include out the box support for GMA500 cards so hopefully Ubuntu will aswell

The treat helps me with gma500 on 9.10 does not work with 10.04.
System reports, that psb-kernel-source is corrupted.
I tried do get it from different places, rusult is the same. I think, the problem is in recognising the file, not in the file.

Now I am experiensing the slide show with wrong resolution instead the films in correct recolution.

See this page for proposed workarounds and solutions:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardwareSupportComponentsVideoCardsPoulsbo

The page is updated periodically. Currently it recommends trying these instructions for Lucid (Ubuntu 10.04 LTS):
http://code.google.com/p/gma500/wiki/InstallScript

Also, you might try this suggestion:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AspireOne/AO751h#Lucid%20(10.04)%20workaround-via%20915resolution%20in%20GRUB2

That's what I found on the net, I haven't tried any of those solutions. Please share your testing experience in the comments.

For more information and updates, see bug 426791 and other bugs referenced there in the comments.
