Can I use KDE desktop with Ubuntu 7.04 (Fiesty Fawn)? How?

apt-get insall kde-desktop

sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop
log out and click options/sessions, choose KDE, to get back tdo the same
thing but choose Gnome.

Thanks to both Rodrigo & Bryan, however, I still need to know how I can run both desktops. The session/options is confusing. Do I need to edit the/etc/init.d/kdm & gdm files?

No there is no need, in the login screen you can choose, either gnome or kde, you can't run both at the same time, but you could use prohrams from kde in gnome and from gnome in kde

Thanks again...that worked fine. Ireally appreciate all the help. I will experiment with KDE to see which desktop I want to be my default.
