Please help me get back into X!

After updates on the 21st to Breezy my X no longer starts.

The message which I am getting is "Screen(s) found but none at correct resolution". I have a 1400x1050 screen on my laptop (Dell Inspiron 510m). Up until then it had been working correctly. I had 855resolution installed because, without it, I could not run at 1400x1050 and everything was blurry.

Please tell me what logs/information you need and where I can get them from.

Does anyone have any suggestions to get me back operational in X?

You can reconfigure X server, type dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg and reconfigure xorg, then if it's all ok you can return back to X.

Hi. you can re-configure your X, edit xorg.conf (/etc/X11/xorg.conf)
Section "Monitor"
        Identifier "Monitor0"
        VendorName "Monitor Vendor"
        ModelName "Dell D1025HTX"
        DisplaySize 280 210
        HorizSync 31.0 - 70.0
        VertRefresh 50.0 - 120.0
        Option "dpms"
EndSection
Try change some parameters like
DisplaySize 280 210
HorizSync 31.0 - 70.0
VertRefresh 50.0 - 120.0

er staan 2 computers op , deze desktop 13.04 en de laptop 11.10 , laatste kan ik niet aanmelden ( laptop ) 11.10 hij werkt slecht
met schijf , niet te installeren deze heeft het voorigge gewist . op welk e-mail adres kan ik je mailen ?
