[Gutsy]WIFI and Sound not working after today's update

linux-libc-dev (2.6.22-9.25) to 2.6.22-10.30
linux-restricted-modules-common (2.6.22.2-9.8) to 2.6.22.3-10.1

I no longer have sound and wifi....

i can get sound and wifi using Gentoo Live CD.

Please help...I am totally dependent on WIFI and cannot do any work....

i actually had to come down to my neighbour's to write this....

I have Intel HDA and intel 3945 wifi...

see if grub starts an i386 kernel. it should start the generic kernel instead.

if you get wireless wroking afterwards and still don't get sound see

it is in generic mode...i tried i386 and got the same results....i tried 2.6.22.9 (my previous kernel) and found that nvidia driver is already updated to the latest kernel so X was broken,..i didnt want to change it....so for now i am ok with WIFI not working but X working.
