Cannot disable the CD-ROM/DVD Source Repository
I am running Ubuntu 8.04.4 and always select updates received over the Internet from Ubuntu. It is my only operating system.
My computer system is an AMD K6-III cpu @ 333Mhz, 512 Mb RAM, 6Gb Hard Disk.
I am trying to install an update of a Hewlett Packard Printer Driver (HPLIP 3.10.6.run). I followed the instructions for installing a ".run package" and selected "Properties>
The installation process went well until I received an Error message that I needed to "Disable the CD-ROM/DVD Source Repository." I discovered in the Support documentation a suggestion of selecting System>
Any ideas as to how to disable the CD-ROM/DVD Source Repository so that I can complete the installation process for this HP Printer Driver??
Thank you for your help. Stephen Smith
