10.10: Joomla

Hi

I'm coming once again. And I hope you can help. Thanks a lot!

I downloaded Joomla 1.6. I would edit a CSS file and did the following:

1: Control Panel > Template Manager
2: Tab Templates Manager
3: I choosed "Beez20_Details"
4: I choosed "Edit main page detail"
5: I inserted a blank line
6: I saved the file

I got the error message "Could not save data. Error: An error occurred. The file index.php could not be saved".

Why I do get this error and what can I do against it? Thanks a lot.
