It is normal that evolution time to time failing to connect to all of my accounts, especially first time connecting to them after start

Evolution, some times, especially then first time is connecting to my accounts after start, giving a messages that the application failed to connect to the account(one after one, to all of them). It is strange situation. I have no idea is it evolution, or connection problem.
I am running Evolution 2.12.0, Ubuntu 7.10(gutsy). Kernel Linux 2.6.22-14, Gnome 2.20 on Gateway GT 5056b computer.

I wouldn't say it's normal. For me, with the same evolution version and a lot of mail accounts set up, it connects almost always, sometimes it fails on one specific pop3 account, but only after many retries (with an error saying that a server gave a bad answer, and i guess it really gives a bad answer).

I have yet to see if todays kernel update will change anything.
