Unable to connect any server with amule

Asked by shahar

Hi

I have Ubuntu 7.10 with amule 2.1.3

After updating bandwidth limits (197 download, 10 upload),
I had loaded up a server list from this location: http://ed2k.2x4u.de/index.html
but my amule is unable to connect - it seems like a timeout. example from the log

2007-11-05 00:51:11: Servers: Trying to connect
2007-11-05 00:51:11: Connecting to www.wmule.com (72.172.90.32 - 72.172.90.32:0)
2007-11-05 00:51:12: Lost connection to www.wmule.com (72.172.90.32:4661)
2007-11-05 00:51:12: Connection lost

Help :-(

Have you tried with another server?
See that the time is too few in the attempts to connect. Can be the server

well. try to make a complete uninstall (purging configurations) of amule, And then, re-install it, run it, and not change the configurations, then try to connect to a server. It will should connect to the server.

I tried to connect with another server... that didn't help.

I reinstalled it all over (include removing ~/.amule)
I didn't do any change with the default configuration.

I tried to get a server with the default server list (http://ocbmaurice.dyns.net/pl/slist.pl?download/server-best.met)
but I got a core dump.

After that I tried to load a server list from the the site I mention before - I got the same connection lost I had at the start...

Same here. It breaks when it downloads a server list.
