edit root in xubuntu

I mess up the sources.list in xubuntu. There is a way to edit the file, erase the line and save it?

Found it.
To anyone with the same problem (im a newcomer to linux).
just open terminal and
sudo -s
sudo mousepad /etc/apt/sources.list
the is just delete or modify the broken line.
