There is no standard firewall/spyware protection/antivirus on Ubuntu. The main reason for this is that you don't need them. Most virii are for Windows, Ubuntu doesn't have many open ports on the default installation, it can easily keep your system updated over an internet connection and Firefox has spyware protection (for more information read this: http://www.informationweek.com/windows/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=179102695). So I only recommend using Firewall with (or without) the AdBlock Plus plugin. This is what most users use and it works. Unless you are using Windows programs on Ubuntu (using Wine) you don't really need an antivirus.

Here is an article describing the installation of two firewalls: http://www.linux.com/articles/55319
For secure web browsing use Firefox with the AdBlock Plus plugin (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865)
For an antivirus you can install: http://packages.ubuntu.com/feisty/utils/f-prot-installer http://www.debianadmin.com/avast-antivirus-for-ubuntu-desktop.html
