bsnl broadband

I have BSNL broad band connection.the adsl mobem is siemensc2110.My problem is that there is no device driver for it in Ubuntu 7.10.Please cosult a modem

hey... I am also using a BSNL Broad band connection mate.. My huawei WA1003A Seems to be working fine.... anyways install the restricted drivers in ubuntu.. For that give a search called "restricted" in synaptic package manager and install linux restricted modules 2.6.22.4-x generic if it its not done so already...
If it is done another alternative is to visit the India Broadband Forum which is a BSNL specific broadband forum where you can post your queries....

Are you plugging it in via the LAN port or the USB?

USB would mostly not be recognized while LAN would work just fine.

Can you help with this problem?
