Maintainer of “me-tv” package in Ubuntu

Asked by Frédéric Côté

Hi,

I'm the new admin/developper of Me-TV and I would like to keep the package of me-tv up to date in "universe". The person who was doing it (Scott Evans) is gone so, can you make me the maintainer of this:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/me-tv

Or tell me how I can do it (update the package in "universe") ?

Thanks,
Frédéric Côté

The best way to maintain me-tv would be to collaborate with the uploaders in Debian: http://packages.qa.debian.org/m/me-tv.html
Right now, we have the package unchanged from Debian. Scott Evans is there since he is the primary uploader of the package in Debian. If you'd like to have updates to Ubuntu directly, you can follow the sponsorship process: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SponsorshipProcess
Ubuntu doesn't have specific package maintainers. For packages with Ubuntu changes, that field is generally set to Ubuntu Developers <email address hidden>
