lost all info in folders doc, music, pictures etc

Hi all
I have been having big problems with 11.04. I could not log in to desktop. I was trying to save the info from my HDD via live cd.
but very hard as it is encrypted.

But I some how got it working and can get into my desktop. so far great.

But here is the funky thing there is nothing in any folders, my Doc's Pic's anything.
It is just like a fresh install. but with all the programs I have installed still there. ie some games, crossover, but again there are as if I just installed them too.
I have Win XP in Vr Machine.VR works but on XP. all programs are like that. nothing

I am guessing that Ubuntu is not reading the encrypted files/info, It just logs in without password.
Can I reset it to work with my encryption code? I have it saved.

please help me to get it working.
