linuxmce uninstall led to inconsistent state: adept wants to update
Asked by
Hans van den Bogert
I know this is not the fault of the kubuntu distribution, but could someone tell what I'm doing wrong:
linuxmce wasn't didn't quite run well, so I start-up aptitude set everything to uninstall, and then set everything to install through the following tasks
-kubuntu-desktop
-standard
-minimal
2 things surprised me,
i : in the above tasks there is no linux-image package, it took a live cd to kickstart my computer
ii : Adept manager thinks I'm in feisty, does anybody know the inner workings of adept what it looks for, so I can set it back to gutsy?
again; I know this is my own fault, but what is a minimal task, if it doesn't even include a linux-image package ?
