Hello

Can you please give some more info about the errors? Can you give us bit more info about your system specs?

Seems like a BIOS bug See

https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.20/+bug/54294

for more Info..

In the mean time , try the ubuntu 64 bit version instead of the 32 bit..

http://ftp.jaist.ac.jp/pub/Linux/ubuntu-releases/gutsy/ubuntu-7.10-desktop-amd64.iso

you can download the ISO from the above link (or) you can order it from shipit

secondly update the bios of your machine and try..

Have a try and keep us informed..

Bhavani Shankar.

I was able to install the Ubuntu 7.10 by disabling the PCI-E Video card and use the built-in video card. After the installation, the error message still appear but it continue to boot. Right now, everytime I want to use the Ubuntu, I have to disable the other video card first. If not, it freeze when its in the status bar.
