Where can I find an installed program?

Asked by Niels Haver

Hi. I just installed Komodo-Edit. In Ubuntu software-centre I found it in installed programs. There are two options: more information and delete. Where can I find the program and can I create a shortcut? There are more installed programs which I can't find. Is there a way to visualise all of them? Thanks

If you search the dash, you will find the application.

Before I posted the question I have searched the dash. I think the problem is that my dash does not show all the programs installed.
