Constant minimum load of 1.00 after Upgrade to 14.10

Asked by mm

Hi,
I upgraded to 14.10 on my computer and after that I get a constant load of minimum 1.00. It seems to be a bug, because CPU (read via htop) and HDD (read via iotop) are idle.
Is there any way to prove that this is a bug?

Regards

What version of Ubuntu did you upgrade from?
What steps did you take?

Thanks

I upgraded from 14.04 via the graphical system updater tool. (On Desktop) It didn't show any errors.

Then why fix something that isn't broken?

Why is a system upgrade a fix? I expected Ubuntu 14.10 to work as 14.04. It seems that waiting with upgrading is recommended. (Haven't upgraded on a non test system before)

You made a massive change to the system for no gain, you also significantly reduced your support time.

I suggest you report a bug
