How to set the default file browser?

Hi everybody!
I installed xfce (xubuntu-desktop) over the default gnome. But now Thunar is the default file browser under gnome (and xfce too of course).
How do I set back nautilus as the default browser under gnome, and thunar as the one under xfce? (If I can't choose I'd rather have nautilus).
I googled it but I can't find any answer except some weird tweaking. If you have a simpler answer let me know.

I forgot to say that I use Hardy alpha 5 so I don't know if it's a bug or if it's just "normal"

you'll need to use nautilus --no-desktop if you want to use it with XFCE.

you'll also need to find a way to modify the settings of gnome-open to revert the change. What happens if you remove Thunar?

You can make nautilus the default file browser again by removing the file Thunar-folder-handler.desktop from /usr/share/applications/
