hello jedi

when you installed ubuntu on top of win xp it should have install grub.

this gives you an option to select ubuntu or winxp when you turn on the pc just after the post screen.

the only way that this doesn't happen is if when installing ubuntu you selected use full disk which would have wiped winxp.

there is also a package called startup-manager in add/remove and synaptic. when installed you can select the default os and time taken before auto selecting default this is really useful as you dont have to edit any config files manually.

Can you help with this problem?
