YAZ - hardy 'vs' intrepid

I'm currently running Hardy with the latest YAZ installed (yaz (2.1.18-2)) for that release, however some of the other add-on components I need for YAZ need a newer version. There is a newer version for the intrepid release (yaz (3.0.34-1))!

So my question is...does anyone know if YAZ 3.0.34 will be released for hardy or just intrepid????

And if just for intrepid is there anyway I can get a newer version of YAZ to work on hardy???

Make sure you have the required dependencies though.
