internet filtering/parental control for Mac/ubuntu

I am new to ubuntu and want to get parental control on internet, but most of the programs I find are not compatible with Mac computers, which I assume are the same for Ubuntu. Any help would be appreciated.

Im sure that there is a free filtering program in the software repository. Search for internet filtering or parental control in synaptic. Here is a trend from Ubuntu forums.
