how to do a complete uninstall of ubuntu.

Asked by jrulo

i installed ubuntu on my pc. i had messed up the first installation after i messed with something i shouldn't have. i reinstalled it and it now shows all the kernels and recovery options on boot up. i have tried deleting the partitions but that didn't even help. i went as far as to reinstall using entire disk space but when i did that i had no sound. anyone know how to delete ubuntu completely so upon boot up it doesn't show all the kernels and recovery options? any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you install it should ask you what you want to do as far as disk usage -- select use entire disk. That will format the entire disk and reinstall the OS.
