fire fox scrolling very slow/jumpy

hello

i've tried to disable the ipv thing to true and also tried to diable effects on desktop and both have not worked. i also made sure xgl is uninstalled and tried to download ati drivers and some other one that starts with a N...through envyng and they both say i do not have a ati or whatever the other name is card. Not sure what to do. i love ubuntu but have to work in windows because of this scrolling problem. it is VERY ANOYING! thanks

hello

so i was wrong...if i disable the effects on desktop everything works fine. However i think this is because i do not have my video card installed. How do i do that? I have a Intel Accellerator 950

Ubuntu has its own drivers for Intel graphics accelerators so its already installed.
Your problem is that the intel integrated graphics is crap and isnt fast enough to work the desktop effects.
